Meet the adorable little long dog with the most loving and happy personality , the adorable little Dachshund x ‘ Skyler”
Our sweet little girl is Dashy all the way from her looks to her typical Dashy traits lol. She's a fun loving, playful and affectionate pup who adores her humans and loves nothing more than spending quality time either cuddling , going for a walk or snuggling in bed for a nap.
Skyler is a Dachshund x Rotty …… but at just 10 kilos and built more like a stocky little Dash the Rotty is really hard to pinpoint in her to be honest. She's a lover of food and eager to please so her training is not a hard task.
Skyler is happy to be left at home alone while her foster family are at work as long as she is included as a part of family activities when her family are home,
As typical Dash goes “ Skyler does take a few minutes to warm to strangers but once she does she is all over you like you are made of treats lol
Skler has met numerous dogs while in care of all sizes and shes adores them to bits and loves to play so we feel she would also do well in a home with other dogs
She adores toys and will happily keep herself entertained for hours with her favorites
Skyler loves nothing more than the feel of grass under her feet and her favorite walks are on open grasslands and parks where she can run her little legs exploring all the great sniff that her long nose loves to do.
Skyler travels well in the car and loves to go on adventures with her family.
Skyler has come a long way with her training and will sit and wait patiently while you prepare her dinner. Her house training is improving each and every day and has minimal accidents these days , such a good girl. ‘
She does have a fetish for stealing toilet rolls so keeping them out of reach is certainly a good idea lol
Like we mentioned Skyler is Dashy all the way so when it comes to bed time if she's not snuggled up in your bed with you …. It's definitely going to be a very long night for you lol
Adoption Criteria
A loving home that have a secure yard with grass shade and shelter
Another dog would be great not critical t but they must be kind and gentle and young enough to play
A home with children is fine BUT we seek mature gentle and kind children who are mature enough not to want to pick her up all the time and risk dropping her
A home with min stairs and are prepared to implement strategies for her to not have to jump onto beds couches etc
A home where she is an indoor/ outdoor dog as she is way to little and not a breed that will cope as an outdoor dog
A home that will allow her to sleep in your bed as she really will be devastated if you don't lol
We have not tested her with cats
