Scooby

Scooby still hasn't had a single adoption enquiry, and he's starting to think there truly is nobody out there who will love him.

He's been waiting for 403 days, and though we do our best to provide him with everything he needs, a shelter is no place for a dog to live for such a long time. His mental health is suffering.

Scooby is a friendly dog. He's not a big cuddler, but feels comforted to know that someone is there if he needs them, often checking in to make sure you're still there.

He gets on well with other dogs and would love to have a canine companion in his future family, though is better suited to dogs of medium to large size.

He's very intelligent and attentive when it comes to training, and is eager to jump through hoops if there is a food reward waiting for him.

Unfortunately, Scooby has a particularly impressive vertical leap and likes to try to see what's going on over the top of the fence. This means that he will need either:
- Extremely sturdy fencing over 7ft
- Someone who is home more often than not and can leave him in a crate for short periods (a family with people coming and going at different times would work well!)
OR
- An enclosed dog run

Lovely Scooby needs to find a home as soon as possible, so please, please, please do your part and share him far and wide!
