Meet Our gorgeous, confident, social Oscar!

Though we don't know much about Oscar's past, we do know he’s a resilient and independent spirit. He suffered an injury to one of his hind legs, which then had to be amputated. This doesn't slow him down at all: he’s learned to run, jump, and play just like any other cat!

This affectionate and loving feline thrives on companionship and will happily stay close by, always ready for a cuddle, a purr, or a bit of "smooching." He’s a true smoocher who enjoys making biscuits with his paws and even has a charming suckling habit at times. Always chatty, he’ll make sure you know when he’s hungry and has a big appetite as he adjusts to his new foster care routine although we do recommend keeping an eye on his food intake to ensure he doesn’t gain too much weight, to reduce the likelihood of adding pressure to his one dominant back leg and avoid any issues down the track.

This handsome fellow loves spending time exploring in safety in his carer's outdoor run so a secure cat enclosure in his new home would be a bonus for Oscar.

Oscar is a wonderful companion who would fit beautifully into almost any caring household, whether it's quiet or bustling, this special boy is sure to add joy, comfort, and endless affection to your life.

MEDICAL NOTES
Oscar has had one rear leg amputated. This does not affect his health or movement.

Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip - including the transfer of ownership. Oscar is sterilised.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
