About Thelma
Hi there! My name is Thelma. I am a petite, black and tan, female kelpie looking for my Louis/e to take me on slow-paced adventures!
I am 14 years old but still have a spring in my step. I like pats, being your shadow, cuddles on the couch, snoozing in the sun and slow sniffy walks. I know my name, sleep well in a crate at night and walk nicely on lead. I haven't spent a lot of time in a house during my life so I am still learning the house rules! I WILL steal your bacon off the bench if I can - but I will also steal your heart.
I have worked very hard all my life so I am sometimes a little stiff and sore. I take arthritis medication and supplements to help with this. My eyesight isn't the best but I still hear really well so if you call me, I will find you.
My foster ma has noticed me starting to initiate play with the boy dogs here - but if I notice she's watching, I only have eyes for her. I don't interact much with the girl dogs but we peacefully co-exist. I'm not a fan of bouncy puppies - my old bones aren't up for that any more. I am comfortable with my own company as well and am content to snooze in the sun outside during the day. I do however love being inside so I can follow my foster ma around and nap on my memory foam bed while she works.
I don't need much exercise or space to run around as long as I can spend lots of quality time with my humans. I am gentle and easy to handle and get along with older kids. I have been known to shown interest in chasing cats and poultry when given the chance so a secure yard is essential.
If I sound like the girl for you, please send in an applcation today!
Thelma is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
