About Waffles
With just the right balance of sweetness, soft fluffy goodness, and a tiny bit of crispy crunch, Waffles is the perfect addition to any lazy Sunday morning.
This girl is more human than dog, and prefers the company of mature adults who enjoy her gentle, unobtrusive presence.
She is intelligent and although a bit shy with strangers, Waffles would love nothing more than to spend every day moving between resting by your side, a sunny outdoor space where she can soak up some rays (or sit in the rain!) and a nice comfy bed - or your couch if she is allowed up!
Waffles currently lives in a large multiple dog household and finds the hustle of sharing her life with so many other canines a bit stressful. While she has a great relationship with her best friend Rayne (who is also available for adoption), Waffles interest in other dogs peaks at a quick sniff on a walk if they seem calm and friendly.
Then she would much prefer to head on home and relax in her own space without the expectation of doggy social interactions.
True to her partial husky heritage, Waffles once achieved the feat of climbing not only her fence but also the neighbour's roof! You can imagine her pride when her people found her up there surveying the neighbourhood. She is a bit more relaxed now days and prefers to spend her time indoors with her people, but will still require a securely fenced yard in case her husky ancestors whisper in her ear and give her ideas.
Waffles can be a bit of a talker with her favourite people, and knows how to sing the song of her people, so her new people must love dogs with an mild independent streak and the occasional opinion. Never fear though as Waffles is not out to rule over any domain - this girl just wants a quiet corner of the world to live her best life with her favourite people.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
