QLD Meet Phoebe: Ready for Adoption!

We need a very special person to take in Phoebe. She is a puppy handful and could remain so for a long time to come. Is there someone out there with the heart and time to take her on?

She needs to be gone from her foster home by Nov 20.

🐾 Age: 9 months
🐾 Weight: 9.6 kg (a little smaller due to past hardships)

Personality:
• Timid & Sweet: Phoebe is a shy little lady who warms up with gentle encouragement.
• Playful: She's discovering the joy of play for the first time and adores her ball!
• Energetic: Full of life, she loves to roughhouse and can get a bit overexcited with playful jumps and nibbles from her very sharp little teeth!
• Affectionate: A cuddle bug at heart, she enjoys napping close to her humans and is both crate-trained and toilet-trained.

Home Requirements:
• Needs to be an inside dog and loves sleeping near her people—ideally on or by your bed.
• Best suited for homes with some puppy experience to help her learn.
• She may remain a puppy for a long time due to previous starvation. We are not sure how this has affected her development, except for her physical growth.
• Gets along well with other dogs, especially calm, older ones who can guide her.

Phoebe is crate trained, toilet-trained, microchipped and desexed, and all vaccinations up to date

She is still learning basic commands and how to manage her excitement but responds well to positive reinforcement

Fun Fact: Phoebe has a charming ridge of fur down her back and absolutely loves running zoomies!
