About Bernard and Bianca
Meet Bernard and Bianca, a delightful duo of Fischer’s lovebirds who are ready to bring joy and vibrancy into your home.
This charming pair consists of one stunning green lovebird and a beautiful masked violet.
At just one year old, Bernard and Bianca have their whole lives ahead of them, and they're on the lookout for a loving and patient new family!
While Bernard and Bianca are timid due to their previous environment, their naturally sweet and chatty demeanour will shine through with love, patience, and gentle care.
They may take some time getting used to new surroundings, but it's a rewarding process as you witness their personalities blossom.
Caring for Bernard and Bianca requires a basic understanding of bird behaviour and dietary requirements. They require a diet of pellets and fresh chop daily. Upon application, we will require photos of the setup you are able to provide for them. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Lovebirds live for 10-20 years, please consider this when applying.

Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and allows us to determine whether an animal is suited to your home and family and vice versa.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted via the Pet Rescue Website. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. We have a 2 week trial period to allow the animal to settle into your home and ensure the animal and you are happy. During this time, the animal can be returned to Forget Me Not Rescue for a full refund of the adoption fee.
All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
