About Bam Bam
Hi there, I’m Bam Bam!
I’ve been in foster care since I was just an itty-bitty bottle-fed baby, alongside my sister Pebbles. Pebbles has already found her forever home, so now it’s my turn to start job hunting for my perfect family. I’m hoping to find someone who understands my needs and can give me all the love and care I deserve.
I’m looking for a family with experience with my breed and a nice big block for me to roam. I’m not suited to small suburban living, but I promise to make your rural life even more amazing!
Here’s a bit about me:
My foster family calls me Bambi or BB, but you can just call me your new best friend.
- I’m a black belt in play, a fly-catching extraordinaire, and an absolute water lover.
- I’m the sweetest, most placid boy you’ll ever meet. While Maremmas are known for their barking, I’ve done extremely well here, even with all the dogs in the neighbourhood. (Don’t get me wrong—playtime can get noisy, so suburban living probably isn’t for me.)
- I’ve been working on my manners and am learning how to “come” and “sit,” and I’m even practising “stay.” I’m a slow and steady eater who savours every bite—no rushing for me. I absolutely adore food, and training me will be a breeze because I’ll do just about anything for treats and snacks!
When it comes to bedtime, I’m easy. I sleep well inside or outside, but I usually curl up outside with my foster siblings.
I’ve had experience with tiny humans in my first foster home, but not in my current one. However, I now live with two foster siblings (dogs), three foster cats, and six foster chickens! I’m proud to say I don’t chase the chickens anymore—that’s a big positive, right?
I’m also a big softie when it comes to cuddles. I love wrestling with the other dogs in my foster home and would be happy to have doggy siblings, but I’d also do just fine as an only pet as long as I get plenty of mental and physical stimulation—and, of course, all your attention and love.
If you’re a Maremma lover and have been looking for your new best friend, I’m here waiting for you. I can’t wait to meet you and start my new life as part of your family! 🐾
Love,
Bam Bam 💕
