Georgie - 2 Year Old Chihuahua

Meet Georgie, an affectionate little smooth coat female Chihuahua that always longs to be near you. You will never eat, sleep, sit or toilet alone ever again. The moment a lap becomes available Georgie will be there to keep it warm for you. Georgie enjoys playing fetch and going on walkies, although she could use a bit more work walking on the lead. She is still young and has plenty of puppy energy but is super eager to please.

Georgie loves to try and catch flies (she thinks she is pretty good at it) and she likes to steal socks and toilet rolls....she's starting a collection that might be worth thousands in a few years. Georgie isn't too fussy when it comes to food or treats, she enjoys her food. She is well trained at sit, stay and come.

Georgie is toilet trained and will toilet outside if it is available to her, otherwise she will use a pee pad. In a former home she had a doggie door which might prove useful in her new home as she doesn't tend to alert you when she needs to go out.

Georgie would love to have a small young friend to play with and gets along with male and female dogs that enjoy a little rough and tumble play. So far she has had favourable interactions with all the small dogs she has met but the older dogs don't enjoy her enthusiasm for life.

Georgie, like most Chihuahuas does not much like loud noises, such as the vaccuum cleaner. She may run and hide, but doesn't have any aggressive tendencies/reactions like barking or biting. Georgie is not much of a barker. She will bark at a stranger on the property but rarely at other dogs barking or other disruptive noises.

Georgie hasn't had any experience with children and would be best suited to a quiet home with one or more owners who are home more often than not. Her yard will need to be very secure given her small size, with full fencing and no gaps. Georgie tends to run after birds and lizards and other small critters so not suitable for a home with chickens, rabbits or other pocket pets.

Georgie is an inside dog and needs to have access to the indoors at all times. Although she loves to explore the yard she would much prefer to be by your side.
Georgie must be allowed to sleep inside, preferably in your bed as your snuggle buddy. She sleeps through the night well.

Georgie is a smooth coat (short hair) chihuahua and therefore has a shedding coat that requires brushing and washing.

Georgie is in foster care in Bateau Bay, NSW. She is not available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $700. Georgie is desexed, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
