About Jellyfish
Jellyfish, affectionately known as Jelly, is a beautiful natured, intelligent, and high-energy little Husky girl. True to her breed, Jelly is full of life and has a zest for adventure. She is the epitome of a playful Husky puppy – always on the go, ready for a walk, and eager to learn. Jelly's energy is boundless, and she thrives on daily exercise and playtime. She loves her walks with her foster sisters (a 2-year-old Labradoodle and a 6-year-old Cavoodle) and walks extremely well on a leash—no pulling, just a happy trot next to her Labradoodle sister. Though she does like to take breaks (she's only a baby, after all!), Jelly can walk 6-8 kilometers with her "career" walks in the morning and evening and still have plenty of energy to spare for playtime and cuddles in between.
One of Jelly's favorite things in the world is water—whether it's playing in the shower, splashing in the lake, or lounging in her shell pool in the backyard, she’s your little water-loving fish!
Training and Habits:
Jelly is crate-trained and happily settles in her crate from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. without complaints. She’s done well with her potty training, having only had two accidents in her foster home, and she has access to both inside and the backyard via doggie doors. Jelly has learned some key commands, such as "sit," "drop," "here," and she responds well to her name. She loves to learn and is eager to continue her training with her forever family, as she is a very smart and motivated pup.
Jelly has a strong food drive and will happily let you know when it’s time for dinner—she’s quick to voice her opinion at 4 p.m. sharp! After all, who can resist that adorable Husky charm?
Ideal Home:
Jellyfish would thrive in a home with an active fur parent who can match her energy level. She’s a busy girl who loves long walks, active play, and mental stimulation. Ideally, Jelly should have a young fur playmate (around 1-4 years old) who can match her rough-and-tumble play style. While she’s been very sweet and social with her foster sisters, Jelly can be a bit rough during play, especially with smaller or older dogs, so a companion her own size and energy would be a great match.
An ideal home would be one with a securely fenced yard—Jelly can jump quite high, so high, secure fences are a must! Having both inside and outside access would also be wonderful for her. As a Husky, Jelly thrives when she’s treated as a true member of the family and has the space and time to burn off her energy.
My Energy Level:
Jelly is an active, high-energy dog with a love for walks (6-8 km is ideal) and lots of play. Without enough physical and mental stimulation, she may resort to behaviors like chewing or digging, so it's important to keep her engaged and entertained. Jelly is an enthusiastic explorer, and she’ll make sure you have a full day of activity to keep up with her!
My Suitability to Children:
Jelly's suitability with children is untested, but she does have a tendency to jump, which could be overwhelming for young children. However, she doesn’t seem to nip or bite, so with proper training, she could likely adapt well to a family with older children who can keep up with her playful nature.
My Suitability to Other Dogs and Cats:
Jelly has done well with her foster sisters (a Labradoodle and a Cavoodle), though her play style can be a bit rough, so a medium to large dog around the same age and energy level would be ideal. Jelly has not been tested with cats, so her compatibility with them is unknown. She would likely do best in a home with a younger, active dog who enjoys playtime and outdoor adventures.
Jelly’s Personality:
Jelly is a curious and loving pup who brings joy to everyone around her. She’s an eager learner, a silly little water lover, and always ready for a cuddle session or a game of chase. She’s been a sweetheart in foster care, with a gentle and affectionate nature, and is quickly becoming a cherished member of her foster family.
If you're looking for an energetic, affectionate, and intelligent Husky who loves to play, learn, and explore, Jellyfish might just be the perfect addition to your family! She's ready to find her forever home where she can continue to grow and share her joy with you every single day.
