About Ernie
Ernie is an energetic and playful 6-month-old puppy with a beautiful nature.
Ernie has such a sweet nature and would make a wonderful addition to any family unit.
Ernie adores playing with his brother and thrives in a lively household with four kids, aged 5 to 13, as well as regular interaction with a 10-month-old baby.
Ernie has begun lead training, though he is still a work in progress.
On the bright side, he’s fully toilet trained and loves snuggling up for cuddles.
His affectionate personality and vibrant spirit make him a delightful companion!
Ernie would love a furry playmate in residence.
Like all puppies Ernie will need ongoing socialization and training.
Though he's intrigued by the two resident cats, they keep their distance, leaving us curious about how they would get along.
We have been told Ernie is Bulldog x Mastiff, however mum & dad a medium size, photos on request.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
