About Winter
MEET WINTER!
Winter is 5 years young, he was hand raised as a tiny kitten at approximately 5 days old, as such Winter has only ever known love, kindness and affection! This makes him a HUGE love bug, in fact he can't get enough of your love, he would wear you if he could! He loves being held and carried, he will climb up your legs waiting for you to pick him up and cuddle him up on your shoulder. There is not much more to say about Winter other than he is absolutely wonderful, a "bomb proof" cat, and will make a lucky home very happy.
Winter has lived with multiple other cats and he would be OK sharing with 1 other desexed friendly cat in the home however he would prefer to be the only furry love in your life if possible.
Winter would be perfect for any home, kids, teenagers, adults, seniors, anybody who is looking for a new best friend and needing some extra love in their life.
Winter is VERY gentle and trusting of everyone and every animal which makes him vulnerable to being hurt/stolen/killed, as such Winter must be an indoor only cat for life however he would enjoy access to an outdoor enclosure if one is available.
Winter comes with a 2 week in-home trial to ensure its the purrfect match!
A video chat meet & greet can be organised if you are not local to Ballarat.
Medical notes
Winter is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with his flea and worm treatment. Winter has no known medical conditions.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
