My Ideal Home:
Gelato adores snuggling with her feline friends, so she would thrive in a home with another kitten or cat. To keep her happy and engaged, she'll need plenty of toys and scratchers to satisfy her playful spirit. Like all cats from Hunter Animal Rescue, she requires an indoor environment or a secure outdoor enclosure to ensure her safety. If you’re ready to welcome this affectionate little lady into your home, she’ll bring endless joy and companionship!
What is Known About My Background:
Gelato was left at the pound as a young kitten with her two brothers. Now she has been desexed and microchipped, and is up-to-date with her vaccinations and parasite treatments, she is ready for her forever home.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Gelato would make a wonderful addition to any family. She would flourish in a home with another cat or kitten to befriend. While she hasn't met any dogs yet, her confident nature suggests she would likely do well with a cat-friendly dog. Gelato’s gentle disposition makes her an excellent companion for children.

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
