About Xena: warrior princess
*In foster care in Alexandria , Sydney*
Introducing Xena: Warrior Princess, an 8-month-old feline with a name that matches her majestic aura. This young lady is eagerly awaiting a new family to share her days with.
Xena came into the care of Maggie’s Rescue as a pregnant teen off the streets. Barely older than a kitten herself, she transitioned to indoor life like the monarch she was born to be. Since then, she has not only birthed her own two babies but fostered an additional three orphans in need of a mum of their own. It has been our absolute joy to watch this gorgeous girl come into her own, with security and good food seemingly aging in reverse to where she is now the bouncy, joyful teen she was always meant to be. The marvelous news is that, with all of her babies now weaned, this stunning girl is ready to commence the search for her own furrever home… Will this warrior princess conquer your heart?
Like all Maggie’s pets, Xena will be available for her new home once microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated (2 December 2024).

MY IDEAL HOME:
Xena is a social creature who thrives in the company of her people. She loves to be around her family and will happily follow you from room to room. Xena eagerly seeks affection and enjoys meeting new people and greeting guests with her sweet and warm demeanor. Her ideal home would provide plenty of attention, playtime, and opportunities for bonding. She has recently started some harness and lead training and shown great potential… something to consider if you’re looking for a kitty to join you on your outdoor adventures.
MY ENERGY LEVEL:
As a young teenager, Xena has the best of both worlds: playful energy and calm maturity. She’s curious and enjoys interactive play but also knows when to relax and lounge by your side. Xena’s joy is contagious, bringing energy and fun without causing chaos.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN:
Xena’s gentle, social, and affectionate nature makes her well-suited to a home with children who are respectful of her space. Her love for interaction and play can be a wonderful match for a family setting where kids can enjoy her playful yet well-mannered ways.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS:
Xena is highly adaptable and gets along well with other cats, making her a great companion for feline friends. She has not yet been tested with dogs, but we suspect she could do well with careful introductions.
Xena: Warrior Princess is more than ready to become the regal companion to someone who appreciates feline affection and energy. If you’re seeking a cat with heart, playfulness, and plenty of social charm, Xena awaits with open paws. Will this warrior princess conquer your heart?

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
