Muffin the Dachshund

She takes some time to warm up as she’s pretty timid but when she feels safe she’s excited and will come up for cuddles and take food from your hand. Just be prepared as this will take time.
Does not show any aggression and is good with dogs, small or big. Not sure how she is with small cats or other types of animals, not tested - but doesn’t seem to like my backyard chickens.
She’s pretty scared when you take on her on walks and will require more time and patience for training her for walking on a lead.
She’s happy to sleep in a crate or designated area.
She’s not a barking dog - she’s quite chilled and happy when she’s warmed up in your home. She may hide at times under a bed.
Very happy to see you when you get home.
Hasn’t shown interest in toys or toy play but she may warm up to this as she is more comfortable.

Because of Muffin’s timid nature, she is better suited to home with children aged 12 or over.
