Howdy! Thought you were clicking on an ad for a bear? Surprise - I’m actually a young Akita mix named Dintels, and I’m pretty darn handsome, if I don’t say so myself. Let me tell you a bit about myself - I’m part comedian, part drama king, and 100% ready to be your best friend. I’ve got this whole “Akita charm” thing down, and I’ll win you over with my big personality, my love for a good butt scratch (my favourite!), and my endless loyalty.

I’m only young, which means I’m at that *perfect* age to learn and grow. I know, I know — I’m a bit head-strong (it’s an Akita thing), but with the right guidance, I’ll turn into the best companion you could ask for. So, I’m looking for someone with Akita experience who understands me and the importance of firm and consistent training to help me become the well-mannered adult I’m destined to be. I promise, I’ll pay you back with endless love and laughs.

I’m also pretty social with other dogs if introduced the right way, and I currently live with a foster sister (another Akita) who I love playing with. I’m looking for a family who gets my breed’s quirks and independence, and where I’ll be included in all the fun—lots of playtime, adventures, and plenty of spoiling (because let’s be honest, I deserve it!). I absolutely love people and thrive on human companionship. My foster parents say I have FOMO, whatever that means.

Oh, and let’s not forget about my beautiful double coat! I’ll need regular brushing to keep me looking my best and to help manage all that fur. A little grooming goes a long way in keeping me comfortable and looking fabulous.
