About Clementine
Clementine is a young, sweet and affectionate little girl. We estimate that she is around 10 months old but it is hard to know her true age. Clementine spent at least 3 months in a hot, rural pound with very basic facilities, waiting for a carer at Village Tails to become available so she could hitch a freedom ride and start looking for a home of her own! Though the pound is not set up for cats to stay this long in their care, they made an exception due to her beautiful nature. Clementine was the staffs favourite while she waited and quickly stole the heart of her foster carers and their dogs when she arrived. She is now waiting to meet you so you can fall in love too :)
Clementine has a lovely and gentle nature, she enjoys a good belly rub and often touches noses with the resident dogs she is staying with. Clementine hasn't met the resident cats just yet but we believe her calm demeanor means she will get along with them just fine. Clementine allows herself to be picked up though it isn't her favourite pass time, she prefers smooching on you and getting pats with her feet on solid ground. She will follow you around with happy chirps and purring, she loves letting you know how happy she is!
This sweet girl is fully litter trained, loves a good play and has a healthy appetite. Clementine is very affectionate and sweet, she is ready for meet and greets but be warned! Once you meet her, you won't be able to stop thinking about her!
Clementine adoption fee includes her desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatments. Clementine and all Village Tail cats are strictly indoor only :) If you are interested in meeting this sweet girl and offering her the life she so desperately deserves, please send us a message so we can organise a meet and greet with you :)

That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
