Mooey

Once a shy and injured stray, Mooey has begun to heal and show his soft side in the shelter. This sensitive kitty needs a special home where he can take his time to settle in. Starting in a small launch room will help him feel safe before exploring larger spaces, as big areas can overwhelm him.

Mooey thrives with cozy spots like scratch posts, cat trees, and hides such as cardboard boxes and igloos. He'll do best with a patient adopter who understands his timid nature, ideally with older kids who can read cat body language and know when to give him space.

Though he hasn't been tested with other cats, slow introductions are recommended. He may also adapt well to a calm dog if monitored closely.
