Hi there! My name is Prawn… Prawn the Fawn if we’re being formal 😊

I’m a friendly, happy and playful boy who is also ridiculously-good-looking (a Prawn Star, if you will).

I can get a bit excited when meeting new dogs (I forget my size sometimes!) so would need to take things slow and steady initially, while settling into pet life.

I am finding out about all the good things in life - toys, treats, playtime - and I'm loving it, but as I'm still learning how to share my things, I'd do best in a home where I'm the only dog.

While I love making friends with everyone, it's best I don't go to a home with young kids. It's not that I don't like them, but I can get a bit excitable sometimes and I wouldn't want to knock anyone over!

I am the perfect accompaniment for summer and many seasons to come. Who cares about a shrimp on the barbie, when you can have a Prawn on your lawn?

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
