About Hazel
Hazel arrived into Just Cats care as part of our Last Litter Program. This meant that Hazel gave birth onsite in a safe and supported environment, she was then supported through her first few weeks as a new mother before venturing into our foster care program with her 4 babies in tow. While in foster care Hazel thrived in her new found motherhood and raised her 4 babies like she was a true professional. As her babies grew, as all babies do, Hazel began to feel like her usual chatty self again, talking to her foster carer at meal times, or talking to her babies and keeping them in line. Hazel has a wonderful nature, and adores being with her person, she will tolerate being held for short periods of time, but does also prefer to just be near her people. Hazel has not spent time with other cats during foster care, but originally did come from a home where she previously had feline friends. Hazel has also been around primary school aged children, and has seen dogs while in foster care, so we feel that with a slow introduction Hazel could be the perfect addition to any home. You can meet Hazel at our Longford Adoption Centre.
