About Copper
Hi, I’m Copper! I’m a goofy, loveable guy who’s ready to find my forever family. I’m really good with cats, and I’ve seen chickens behind a wire fence and didn’t react at all—just gave them a curious look and moved on. I don’t bark much either, even when there’s a bit going on around me. I’m fully toilet trained (yep, not a single accident inside!) and I know how to sit, shake, and lie down. I’m also learning to wait politely for my food—especially impressive considering how much I love snacks!
I walk great on a lead and absolutely love my weekly bush walks. If you’re not the fittest human, don’t worry—I stop at every tree for a sniff, so you’ll have plenty of time to catch your breath! At home, I’m always close by, “helping” with whatever’s going on—especially in the kitchen. I’m a big fan of water play, chasing balls (even if I don’t always bring them back), and roughhousing with my foster mates.
I’m a loyal, playful, and affectionate kind of guy who loves being near my people. I’m happy to share my home with other pets or be your one-and-only—either way, I’ll bring heaps of joy and laughter to your life. Oh, and I do have a mild allergy to freshly cut grass, but it’s no biggie—a quick antihistamine when needed and I’m good as gold. So… what do you reckon? Think we’d make a great team?

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
