Hi there!

I’m Pumba, a four-month-old Australian Kelpie pup bursting with energy and ready to find my forever home. As a young and lively guy, I’m looking for a special family who understands my breed and can keep up with my playful spirit!

I’m intelligent, loyal, and full of love to give. Being a Kelpie, I’ve got a lot of energy to burn, so I’m searching for an experienced owner who knows how to handle an active pup like me. Although Kelpies are known to be super active and do need exercise its also really important that my new owners teach me how to settle so that I can sleep. Sleep is super important so a routine and a safe place to call my own at home would be amazing.

I’m looking for a family who’s ready to commit to ongoing training, as I’m eager to learn and grow with you. I already know how to sit and I have been working on going to my bed. Similar to people, dogs need to be able to let go of the stress of the day through decompression. My favourite way to do that is by having a pigs ear, licking a licki mat or sniffing out some treats in a snuffle mat.

I have met some dogs here at the shelter so if you have another dog at home please bring them in to meet me. Meeting all of my potential new family members is a must—I want to make sure we’re the perfect match!
