If you're a Halloween enthusiast, you'll love a furry friend named Treat! His spirited personality is reminiscent of the joyous festivities of Trick-or-Treating, offering you a daily reminder of fun times. Treat is always ready to dash after toys or engage in a playful romp, but he's equally fond of curling up for some quality cuddle time.
Treat has a heart murmur caused by a small hole in his heart, which requires no treatment, just monitoring.

Medical notes
Treat has a heart murmur. He has had an echocardiogram and been diagnosed with a ventricular septal defect (a small hole in the ventricular wall). This condition currently requires no medical or surgical intervention, and most cats can live happily with this issue for their whole life without it causing problems. His Vets recommend a rescan of his heart in 3-6 months once he has finished growing, to ensure the hole has stayed the small size it currently is. But otherwise he requires no medical treatment at this time.

Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.
