About Treat - Located in Brunswick East
Well, hello there! I'm Treat. They say I'm a super cute, little tabby boy who is bursting with personality, and who can blame them? I am still a big kitten who is growing into a healthy adult cat with a beautiful nature.
Whether I'm dashing after toys like a cat possessed or engaging in a playful romp, I guarantee endless entertainment.
I love meeting new people and treating them all as my best pal. At other times, my favourite thing is climbing up high on my cat tree and batting the hanging toys on it or just watching the world go by.
Oh, did they mention my heart murmur? Don't fret, it's just a tiny hiccup in my grand design—a tiny hole in my heart. My condition is stable and it has no effect on my good health and my exuberant personality. No treatments needed, just occasional monitoring.
When the mischief settles, I'm all about curling up for some quality cuddle time. I am a total snuggle bunny.

Medical notes
Treat has a heart murmur, caused by a very small hole in the ventricular wall of his heart. This hole, and murmur, are currently causing him no health concerns and require no treatment or intervention. With most cats living happily with this issue for their whole life without it causing problems
Adoption details
Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.
All funds raised at Neko HQ are to benefit Maneki Neko Cat Rescue.
