About Cedar
Through no real fault of her own Cedar has found herself in rescue looking for her forever home. This young lady is beautiful, sweet, playful and full of energy.
She does not jump fences, her foster family have not heard her bark, she does not dig holes but she loves to run. And swim. Cedar LOVES water.
Cedar has a strong prey drive so we are looking for a home without any small children (she loves to nip them), cats (she loves to chase them) or any small animals (they are fun to play with). Being a typical working dog, she is fascinated by things that run and move.
With the right training, Cedar would make an amazing agility or sheep herding dog.
We would ideally like to find Cedar a home with a large enough property where she can run and play. She gets along well with other dogs, more with males than females. She loves to run around the yard with a squeaky toy in her mouth and the best part of her life is jumping into dams and swimming and swimming and swimming. She loves water play with the hose - so watering the garden may never be the same again.
Cedar has excellent recall and good manners. She sleeps in a crate all night but is very well behaved indoors and is just as happy to lay by your feet of an evening and sleep on the floor beside your bed at night. She is a gentle girl and just loves affection.
She has shown no fear of storms or loud noises so would make an excellent companion for the right family.
