About Inkie
'Good things come in small packages', this stands true for beautiful Inkie girl. Inkie is as clever as she is pretty and as inquisitive as she is affectionate. At just 14 weeks (4.2kg) she loves to play and have fun.
Inkie can sit for treats and comes to her name when called. Every day she has explored another area of her foster mum’s garden, even at night yet she shows no signs of trying to escape.
Through her behaviour she has made clear her desire to belong to the pack and looks up to and learns quickly from her foster brothers and sister; but has chutzaph and won’t be bossed about either. This little girl does not let her size deter her and is quite robust when playing with playmates even ones much larger than her.
During play she can bark and make puppy noises but is not vocal at other times. Inkie is currently living next to two very vocal Chihuahuas and Inkie pays them little attention and does not join in.
Inkie also loves being carried, cuddled and one on one attention from her human but is relaxed and calm in her own company too. She sleeps through the night curled up next to her foster sister.
She is a great little eater and is highly motivated by food. Presently she takes her meals with 3 other dogs and shows no reaction while waiting her turn. She is working toward toileting outside with only a few little mistakes when she has been excited in play, she is very positive for 14 weeks and being in a new environment.
Inkie is currently inside/outside gal, her foster mum would love to have a chat if you would like to know any more about this special dog. To ensure a reply, please tell us a bit about yourself and your location. Interstate adoption is available at adopter’s expense. If you are renting your home, please ensure you have approval for a pet before submitting your application. Interstate adoption is available at adopter’s expense
