We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Tica sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Meet Tica, a warm and gentle soul who's irresistibly charming with his affectionate personality. Tica thrives in the company of people, often greeting you at the door with sweet meows and a soft purr, making sure you know how much he missed you throughout the day.
Nothing delights him more than engaging playtime with you, dashing through the air with elegant spins that showcase his athletic flair. When it's time for a rest, you'll find Tica nestled by your side, offering a reassuring presence as you unwind together.
Tica is intelligent, playful, and has that impressive knack of exploring the world around him without venturing too far from his cozy, indoor haven. Grooming himself under rays of sunshine and taking playful leaps after his beloved Kmart star wand toy are some of his favourite activities. He's especially fond of freeze-dried meat snacks, preferring chicken and beef over seafood, so keep them on hand to reward his good behaviour.
Tica's ideal home is a calm, adult-only household where he can be the star of the show without competing for attention with other pets. Though he occasionally frolics chasing imaginary birds from the window, he's strictly an indoor cat who prefers the comfort and security of his nurturing environment.
Regular grooming helps manage his occasional hairballs, and he enjoys following a vet-recommended diet to keep him in top shape. While he may occasionally beg for snacks with adorable persistence, maintaining a balanced diet ensures he stays happy and healthy.
Full of sensitivity and gentle affection, Tica has a big heart and a loyal nature. He'll become your devoted shadow, always nearby to watch over you and offer companionship. Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
