About Sugar Cookie
Sugar is a sugar sweet treat for any family! She got her name as she is very famous for her biscuit making skills. No matter where she is or what she is doing, she is often hard at work filling cookie orders. Sugar is friendly, happy & outgoing - she is eager to explore whether that be the cattery or your shoulder. Sugar is playful, social, SUPER affectionate & very engaging. Sugar Cookie is fine for all owners - regardless of experience.
Sugar is fine to live in any household environment as she is very easy-going & adaptable, and she is open to meet kids of any age. Sugar loves being picked up, carried & cuddled. She even loves to be on her back, upside down, on your shoulders - anything! She absolutely adores a cuddle & she can't stop purring or making biscuits to show her enthusiasm for attention. She'd make a great friend for any child.
As we cannot test in this environment, we are unsure how Sugar would go living with dogs & cats. This would be up to the discretion of her new owners & up to the personality of the existing animals too. We always recommend a slow & gradual interaction to existing animals in the home.
Sugar Cookie is best to live indoors only. A sweet girl like Sugar will surely see her leave the safety of her property. Having her outside puts her at risk of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. Zippy will happily be an indoor cat & most importantly will be safer being inside, too.
Sugar has mid-range energy. She likes toys, and likes batting them around, her love of playing is short lived though, as this sweet girl prefers cuddling with her human friends.
Sugar Cookie isn't fussy when it comes to food; she loves all food! She is also very clean; she always uses her litter tray with any issues!
Staff Comments: Sugar Cookie is the most sweetest, friendliest cat you'll meet. From the very beginning of her time with us she was always just begging for attention at the window of her condo. Even before you start peting her, she's purring & making biscuits & rolling over with content. She just adores people. She loves cuddles & pats.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
