About Jeddah
🐾 Meet Jeddah – Our Majestic Big Boi
Jeddah is an absolute unit of a cat — big in size, big in presence, and even bigger in heart. Once abandoned and likely used to life outdoors, he’s now fully embracing the good life and discovering that indoor living is actually… excellent.
In foster care, Jeddah has come a long way. He greets visitors at the door with a rumbling purr and loves having company while he eats — often pacing between his bowl and you for pats, just to make sure you’re still there. He’s fallen hard for soft beds, warm blankets, and gentle affection, and when he’s comfortable, he’s a truly fantastic snuggle buddy.
Jeddah is also a bit of a lovable doofus. He’s food motivated, slightly clumsy, and hilariously uncoordinated at playtime. Watching him chase toys is like watching Arnold Schwarzenegger try to dance — enthusiastic, determined, and wonderfully chaotic.
He is best suited to a home without young children and with humans who can read cat cues. He gets along well with calm, friendly cats who help him feel secure. He hasn’t been tested with dogs yet.
Jeddah is desexed, vaccinated, toilet trained, and fully up to date with his vet care. He is indoor-only (unless you have a secure cat enclosure).
Jeddah does take some anxiety medication with any big changes to help manage transitions in foster care. With stability and time, he has been able to be gradually remove them once he’s settled into his forever home. He is also on a urinary diet.
If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, affectionate companion — a cat who will keep you company, make you laugh, and reward your patience with deep affection — Jeddah might just be your perfect match. 💛
