Angel 😇9yo, Maltese x Shih Tzu (On Trial 4/11/24)

Angel is a loving, 9yo, Maltese x Shih Tzu. She is active and healthy and would love to accompany you on your daily walk. She adores all people and dogs. 🍭

😇 About Angel:
• Loves everyone she meets.
• Likes to play with little squeaky toys and a have game of tug.
• She is in foster care with three other dogs and gets along great with them.
• Housetrained.
• Low-shedding coat.
• Walks beautifully on lead.

She is a very affectionate little girl who likes to follow you around and sit on your lap. She’s not a nuisance barker so she’d be fine in a ground floor apartment or a small villa with a little courtyard for toileting.

Angel is very much an inside girl and needs to be welcome inside, on your furniture, and to sleep inside. She is housetrained. She’s not suitable to be let off the lead unless you do some training with her first.

She is ok left at home alone inside for a few hours at a time but not all day. So, we're looking for a home where there is someone home most of the time (no full-time workers).

Angel has a low-shedding coat so is good for people with allergies. She needs professional clipping every couple of months.

Angel is good with children but she isn't suitable to a busy household with young children, but young visitors are fine. Any kids in her forever home should be at least 8 years old. Angel hasn’t been tested with cats or other pets but we can test her for you if needed.

Small dogs like Angel typically live to around 16 years old so she should still have many years to enjoy in her new home.

✅ Angel would like a home where there is someone who:
* will love her and take her for a walk each day.
* needs a lap warmer.
* doesn’t work full time.
* Where there are no children under 9.
* Other dogs are fine.
* Has very secure fences (no wire mesh).

Angel is in foster care in Belmont, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). ⭐She is available for adoption to NSW, ACT, QLD and VIC. We don’t fly dogs interstate, so you would need come to meet her, and drive her home with you.

Angel's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas & worms, vet checked, and microchipped.
