Please meet our Addison.
Addison is a stunning lady with a beautiful, black tortoiseshell coloured coat. It's hard to go past her amazing green eyes and the touch of pink on her nose. Please read on to find out about Addison:-
EXPERIENCED CAT OWNER - Whilst Addison is very affectionate and enjoys your attention, she is the type of cat that can become over-stimulated quickly with moderate amounts of patting. An experienced cat guardian will understand this and accept that this may not change, however they will find joy looking after this beautiful lady and making her feel loved and wanted. Please ask us as we have many tips on helping with this situation.
QUIET/CALM HOUSEHOLD - This will help Addison feel safe as there will be less chaos and noises to alarm her. Addison prefers routine in her home. A "launch room" will be a great addition in her home and it would be a simple way to achieve a successful adoption. Please ask us about this.
NO CHILDREN UNDER TEENAGE YEARS AND NO CATS OR DOGS - We have come to this decision due to Addison's previous history and the need for her to have a routine. She is quite a shy lady and is not keen on being fussed over.
INDOOR LIFESTYLE - Addison must be an indoor cat to protect the wildlife from harm and also keep her happy and healthy from outside dangers. She loves resting anywhere with a view of the outside world. It's like Cat TV for her. Therefore, warm window-sills, window boxes or large cat scratchers will make her content.
NUTRITIOUS DIET - Last but certainly not least. A nutritious diet will make it possible for Addison to have a long, healthy life. This diet would be one of high-quality dry biscuits supplemented with delicious wet food and ample bowls of fresh, cool water. The latter is very important for hydration. Enquiries sent through PetRescue will NOT be answered. Please follow the process below
1) Please note the name of the animal you're interested in
2) Visit the RSPCA Queensland adoption site at www.rspcaqld.org.au/adopt
3) Search for the animal either by type or location
4) View the animal's profile, and click the link to submit an application
5) RSPCA staff will contact you to inform you about the outcome of your application and to talk through the next steps if your application is successful!
