At just 5 months old sweet little August found her way into our shelter and now she is finally ready to find her forever home!!

August can come across as a little bit shy initially as the world can be a pretty scary place for a puppy so small, but with a bit of time and a looooooot of love she will warm up to her future adopters in no time.

Since August is still a tiny baby she would benefit from attending puppy school so she can learn some cool new tricks and become the confident girl we know she can be!

August loves people and cuddles but she can get a bit uncomfortable when over-handled so please ensure if you have any young children, that they can respect her boundaries and understand the signs of when she needs space.

In addition to her love for human interaction, August has a playful and vibrant spirit. She enjoys engaging with squeaky toys and balls, making playtime an enjoyable experience for her and her future family.

She has shown some interest in other dogs at the shelter and would be happy to go home with another doggy friend pending a meet and greet.
