About Hazel
Meet Hazel, a charming and sociable pig with a genuinely golden heart. Hazel embodies sweetness and friendliness, making her a delightful addition to your paddock. With a domesticated nature, she thrives on companionship and displays her gentle disposition through her ease of bonding with others—be they human or fellow animal friends.
Despite not knowing Hazel's exact age, her youthful energy and spirit are evident in every interaction. Hazel is more than happy to engage with you during mealtime, even enjoying being hand-fed, which showcases her trusting and kind personality. Whether she's curiously exploring her surroundings or basking in the peaceful company of her companions, Hazel is certain to bring a sense of joy and tranquility.
Hazel loves meeting new paddock mates, and her sociable nature makes her an excellent fit for environments filled with other animals. If you're considering expanding your family with a non-traditional pet, Hazel might just be the perfect choice for you. She flourishes in a safe and welcoming environment where she can roam and be her playful self.
Hazel is available for public tender. For those interested, please complete a tender form that can be found on the following website:
https://www.goulburn.nsw.gov.au/Services/Animals
The form will need to be completed and a monetary offer made for Hazel. Council will contact applicants and review enquiries. We are taking applications until the 6th of November 2024.

Once you have been selected as the right applicant for the animal, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Animal Shelter by eftpos ONLY (Via phone can be arranged after a meet and greet with the animal), provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated, if not already desexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic.
