About Ferny
**SUPER MUM**
Meet HD2913 Ferny!
This sweet, shy, mumma of 4, Ferny was brought into care after being abandoned with her newborns.
She was dirty, scared and had some skin issues, but she stayed right by her babies.
Once in care she warmed up to her new temporary family, allowing them to check her and her bubs over, and even asking for cuddles and love!
Ferny's Vibes:
This beautiful mumma dog has a heart of gold, Ferny is:
- Cautious at first (takes time to trust)
- Loyal and protective (guards her family with love)
- Treat-obsessed
- Cuddle aficionado! Heaps of snuggles guaranteed!
- Movie night enthusiast (cozy couch companion)
- Road trip ready she loves car rides!
- Zoomie queen (watch out for spinning joy!)
- Bouncy enthusiast (jumping for joy is her thing!)
Perfect Match:
Ferny is looking for a patient, loving home where she's the center of attention! Ideal for:
- Experienced dog owners (understanding of trust issues)
- Peaceful households
- Single dog households (she's the queen!) or a family willing to introduce her to another dog slowly
- Cozy homes with comfy couches (her favorite spot!)
- People with plenty of love, treats, and snuggles to share!
Why Ferny will steal your heart:
- Devoted mumma dog (loves her family unconditionally)
- Affectionate companion (always by your side)
- Intelligent and loyal
- Post-puppy life ready (no more baby-sitting, just relaxation!)
- Unique brindle coat (stunning!)
- Fiercely loving once trust is earned (unconditional love)
- Adorable zoomies and jumps (infectious joy!)
Ferny's past experiences have made her wary, but with patience, love, and understanding, she'll blossom into your loyal companion.
She's a funny little mix of breeds, at a best guess she's a corgi-heeler-staffy mix, otherwise known as a Pilbara bat eared log-dog. She has shorty legs and a stubby kind of body, which make her a wonderfully compact companion.
Ferny will be desexed before leaving for her new home.
If you'd like to get to know more about Ferny, please send us a message or email hedland.dogs@safe.org.au to speak to her foster family!
