About Tinkerbell Kumara
TO APPLY FOR ADOPTION PLEASE SEND IN APPLICATION FORM AVAILABLE BELOW:

Tinkerbell is a ball of energy who absolutely loves life! She adores
everyone she meets, both people and dogs, and she has a zest for play
that's infectious. Tinkerbell is very loving and thrives on cuddles on
the couch with her favourite people. She's a champion at showing
affection and will wake you up in the morning, ready to play and start
the day. Tinkerbell also has a special fondness for her ball and loves a
good game of fetch.
She gets excited for car rides and enjoys her daily walks, where her
enthusiasm for the outside world really shines. While she can pull on
the lead and sometimes be reactive, this is due to her high energy and
curiosity. She just loves meeting new people and dogs, and she might cry
a little on walks if she can't say hello to her new friends.
Tinkerbell's love for interaction can lead to a bit of jumping on
people, so she's still learning her manners, but her excitement is all
about sharing her joy.
At home, Tinkerbell is housetrained, has mastered the doggy door, and
knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and bed. She's happy meeting
other dogs on walks and gets along well with her foster doggy brother,
though she is more interested in playing with people than other dogs.
Tinkerbell would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of time
with her people. If her new family has children, teenagers would be the
best fit due to her energy and playfulness. While she could enjoy having
a doggy sibling, she'd also do just fine as the sole focus of her
family's love.
Tinkerbell is untested with cats, and we're still learning more about
her as she settles into her foster home.
Tinkerbell has truly captured our hearts with her affectionate nature
and playful spirit. She's ready to find her forever family who will
cherish her as much as she'll cherish them.
If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who's full of life,
Tinkerbell is the one for you! ❤️

wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals,
surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm
testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If
a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

We look forward to receiving your application.
