I'm not a fighter, I'm a lover! My name is Stallone and I'm a extra large hunk ready to charm my way into your heart.

Built like a furry rugby player and have the personality of an older gentleman, I'm even such a gentleman that I've removed my ears for photos so you can focus more on my handsome face! I love to have a slow sniff around the yard then plonk down by your feet for some company, but am not desperate to be on your lap 24/7.

My shelter friends have told me I'm great at hugs, but I need to work on some basic manners like listening and walking/pulling on a lead (will need to go home with a balance harness). They've noticed I've been a bit extra stressed at the shelter but my behaviour is very subtle, and hard to tell how I'm feeling. Due to this I'll need to go home with adults only that can read my body language.

Although I have lived with other dogs before, I'm not wanting to interact with them at this stage in my life. I'd be more than happy to be the only dog in the house and have all your attention to myself!

I've had a really rough time recently that's lead to me being here. A while ago I survived a house fire that lead to my owner passing away. With nobody else having space for my large self I've found myself here at the shelter, alone and scared. After some time with the staff here I've opened up, and I'm now looking for a new forever home that can give me some comfort and understanding, and most importantly a second chance.
