Hi! I'm Digby and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Digby unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Digby in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs however I can be full on in play, so another dog with the same energy as me is a must.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys, mental stimulation, love and attention
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• I have previously lived with young children
• I am a clever, young and active doggo - I would be great for dog training, trick training, agility etc.
• No Cats, I really don't like them!

• Exuberant & full of beans
• Very people orientated
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit and I'm always eager to shake your hand! It's my favourite trick I can do.
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Love to snooze on the couch - I love to cuddle with my people!
• Well mannered

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• I can be a bit bouncy - training should stop this
• I can be strong on the lead, especially if I want to go in another direction - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• I am social with other friendly dogs however I will react if they are too full on or reactive to me, further socialisation is recommended.

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE CANNOT COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET DIGBY IN PERSON.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET DIGBY BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
