Our adoption process involves the applicant to come into our store, chat to Nelly and also demonstrate a full understanding of what is needed to care for bunnies. We are here to educate and make sure the bunny will be cared for correctly. ALL applicants must be approved by Nelly so please be patient if she is not working the day you come in. Our pets are guaranteed to be in good health at time of purchase.
You may return the animal to us for a full refund within 7 days providing it has been examined by a veterinarian surgeon with 48 hours of purchase and found to have a disease or congenital defect which will significantly reduce the animal’s lifespan.

If the animal is returned to Nelly’s Ark for any other reason within 3 days of purchase you are entitled to a 75% refund of the original adoption price.

The animal has been given revolution treatment and a nail clip upon arrival in the store.

Our rabbits are fed Showmaster rabbit food, and quality oaten hay, it is best top continue with this food. Always ensure there is plenty of water, fruit and veg available.

By the pet store code of practice we do not have to vaccinate rabbits
There is no current vaccination for myxomatosis available in Australia, however a vaccination for calicivirus is available at many vets.
