Miss Chloe

The time has come for our sweet little mini long Dachshund “ Miss Chloe to find her forever family home.
Miss Chloe is a little loving super affectionate and sweet sausage dog all the way from her “:velcro” you can't go to the bathroom without me to her , oh it's bedtime ??? yes I'm going to use you as a hot water bottle ritual and NO you cannot sleep without me !
At just 7 months of age our little long dog puppy is showing every single trait this wonderful breed has to offer . From her stranger danger awareness lol to her love of playing with her toys to her ultimate joy being snuggling up chilling with her favorite human. Chloe definitely picks her “special person” in the family and that human becomes her pride and joy who she creates a special bond to and everyone else in the home becomes a “second best” feature in her life.
As we said typical to breed she does take a little time to warm up to new human so if you understand the breed you will know you will need to win her trust before you get smothered in Dashy kisses and cuddles but as she is a little foodie this will not take long at all
Understanding the breed being a very long bodied dog is important as she will need to have appropriate ramps put in place to mitigate the risk of back issues by being allowed to jump on furniture beds etc. We are not seeking a home with lots of steps for her to walk up as this is a recipe for disaster for a baby Dashy
She is such a happy, gentle, sweet, and loveable little girl, who knows how to make you laugh. She loves when the kids are playing inside or outside so she can get involved and follow them around.lol She loves playing chasey with them up and down the hallway and is also happy entertaining herself if she has lots of toys to play with. She does love getting lots of pats and cuddles, she’s such a smooch, she will sit on your lap for hours.
Miss Chloe loves to be involved with her foster family whether it’s, following her foster mum around the house or playing with the kids. Miss Chloe LOVES her walks, she is great on the lead. She loves her foster family to play with her toys with her. She is quick to jump on the couch for cuddles as soon as you sit down. Her main focus is her human and she must be where you are- even if it’s the shower or toilet!lol
Miss Chloe knows how to sit- which is very cute. She walks well on a lead and has some good recall inside the house. She is very food motivated which will make training a lot easier. She is almost toilet trained, she will hold overnight or wake you to let her out. But she has had a couple of accidents inside after just coming back inside? She is not a fan of the crate and will not sleep anywhere except with you in your bed and that is a dashy demand not a request! lol Miss Chloe travels perfectly in the car and is just happy to sit there and enjoy the ride with you.
Miss Chloe was a little angel when she got bathed. She really enjoyed the scratch and massage and of course the attention. Miss Chloe has a beautiful soft and healthy coat.
Miss Chloe has been in foster care with cats, when she first met them, she initially barked at them until she realized they had absolutely no interest in her so she gave up ! She does try to get poor old boy Simba cat to play with her as she loves to have someone to play with. Miss Chloe has been friendly with dogs she has met and does like to have a play but can on occasion be a bit of a bossy boots. She did spend some time in care with a larger Boxer boy and they also got on well

Little Miss is not a huge fan of being left art home alone for extended times so when her foster Mum is at work she is alone and though initially has a little complain does settle down and entertain herself for the duration
Medical
Miss Chloe has been desexed , vaccinated and had her back dew claws removed She is fully wormed . flead and Microchipped

Adoption Criteria
A loving home that have a secure yard with grass shade and shelter
Another dog would be great but they must be kind and gentle and young enough to play
A home with cats is ok BUT they must be dog savvy
A home with children is fine BUT we seek mature gentle and kind children who are mature enough not to want to pick her up all the time and risk dropping her
A home where she is NOT left alone for extended hours as she dislikes being left all by herself all day long
A home with min stairs and are prepared to implement strategies for her to not have to jump onto beds couches etc
A home where she is an indoor dog as she is way to little and not a breed that will cope as an outdoor dog
A home that will allow her to sleep in your bed as she really will be devastated if you don't lol
