About Flo
Pocket rocket Flo is a petite and sweet black & tan Kelpie girl.
She came off a remote farm and into foster care, with her brother Ebb, at 5 months of age. The pups had not been exposed to a lot of experiences or been around many humans in their first few months of life.
Flo has grown daily in confidence while in foster care and is ready to continue her journey in a loving home. She needs people that will continue on with her training and development and expose her to new experiences in life. She is a curious and clever girl and picks things up very quickly. She loves a chin scratch and a belly rub and will often come and sit by you if she has finished playing and just wants to hang out with you.
Flo is very comical and cheeky once she is feeling comfortable in your presence! Even though she is quite small she is often sassy with the bigger dogs and does not let her size deter her. She was a pocket sized weight of 9.4kg at last weigh-in.
Flo gains a lot of confidence from playing with many different doggie pals and will need a home with another dog or two. She loves to run, wrestle and play, so a dog that is young and fit enough to match her energy is required. Flo is not suited to inner city or apartment style living.
If you have a kind and patient home, and are willing to commit to further expanding Flo's life experiences, you will reap the reward of watching her become the best version of herself! She is an absolute delight to have around and will make her new humans very happy and proud!
