Introducing our sweet girl Winnie!

Winnie came into the shelter as a stray and with no one coming forward to claim her, she is now on the hunt for a forever family who can provide the safe and loving home that she deserves.

Winnie has the cutest little stumpy tail and once she warms up to you all she wants to do is play ENDLESSLY and will happily take all the treats you have. She also loves zooming around our recreation yard and messing around with all the toys.

Winnie needs adopters who can help build up her confidence with handling and meeting new people as she can get stressed out in these situations. When this happens, Winnie can get a bit mouthy and needs someone who can help appropriately manage these behaviours to keep her happy and calm. Winnie is best suited for an adults-only home (16+) who can take things slow and be patient with her.

Winnie may be suitable to live with another doggy sibling pending a successful meet and greet here at the shelter. Winnie might actually benefit from going home with another dog who can show her the ropes of life at home and act as a safety blanket (and show her where all the treats are hidden!).

Winnie is such a beautiful young dog who is finding the shelter environment a bit stressful and overwhelming and just can't wait to go home with her forever family.
