About Ebb
Sweet and shy, young Ebb is a beautiful Kelpie boy finding his way in the big wide world.
He came off a remote farm and into foster care at 5 months of age. He had not been exposed to a lot of experiences or been around many humans for his first few months of life.
Ebb’s confidence has grown in leaps and bounds while in foster care but he will need a special home, with kind and patient people who are willing to commit to helping him experience all the fun things in life.
Even though Ebb can be a bit timid and wary he is also still a very cheeky, comical young man!! He has a great personality once he warms up to you and is usually the life of the party amongst his doggie crew! He loves pats and cuddles once he trusts you. He is clever and has a curious nature. He is always very interested in his surroundings and what the humans around him are doing. He is quite the little 'shadow' and keen to please you.
Ebb gains a lot of confidence from playing with his doggie pals and will need a home with another dog or, if a solo dog home, somewhere he is able to socialise with other doggie pals on a regular basis. He loves to run, wrestle and play, so doggie pals that are young and fit enough to match his energy are best suited.
Ebb is not suited to inner city or apartment style living and is currently better matched to a home without children while he works on becoming more self assured. He is not a dog that will enjoy a busy 'hustle bustle' life. He is not a 'cafe' dog and prefers a quieter life with his humans around more often than not. He makes a great WFH buddy! He is in foster care with a cat and, while mildly curious, he prefers to keep a safe distance from those swipy kitty paws! He has been around fenced livestock without incident. Ebb tends to gravitate towards female human energy as a preferred safe place for him.
If you have a loving and patient home, and want the satisfaction of seeing Ebb blossom into an even more beautiful boy, please apply today!
