Everybody meet the fabulous Minnie!

Minnie was surrendered to the shelter after her previous owner was unfortunately unable to care for her anymore. She is still so young but has faced some significant challenges, and needs to find a forever home that truly understands her and what she needs to thrive.

Minnie is a very nervous girl who has been working on overcoming her fears while in our care. She gets mildly stressed out when left alone and she has a fear of loud noises. She also lacks confidence when coming across strangers and unfamiliar dogs and has shown signs of panicking while walking through the shelter.

We made sure that Minnie was able to spend time in foster care so she could enjoy some respite and relaxation. She has also enjoyed lots of playdates with another dog which has helped build her confidence levels so much. As Minnie appreciates having the support of another dog who can show her the ropes of pet life, we have decided that she should go home with another doggy sibling.

Due to her fear levels, we recommend that Minnie is suitable for secondary-aged children and above, as she needs the humans around her to be calm and patient and not overwhelm her. If you are willing to support and encourage her, you will be rewarded with the joy of seeing Minnie come out of her shell and truly trust and love you for the rest of her life.
