About Obi - 4 Month Old Bull Arab X Mastiff
Hello potential furever friends! I’m Obi, the cutest puppy you’ll ever meet! Have you seen how adorable my spotted nose is!?
I love to learn, and my foster mum says I am very smart for my age. In just a couple of weeks, I can sit like the bestest boy and I even sit and wait each night for my dinner. I am confident taking treats from your hand and I make sure to be extra gentle when you remind me. Can you believe I already learned ‘stay’ and ‘down’ by following hand signals alone!
I hope you like to cuddle because I am affectionately known as the biggest and best snuggle bug in all of Gillieston Heights. Did someone say pats and belly rubs? Count me in!
I am curious about the world and cannot wait to share new experiences with my furever family. I promise to bring happiness, so much love, fun and smiles every day.
I love going on adventures and I am great in the car, even for long trips. I need some more practise walking on a lead, but I am not a fussy eater. Obi is my name, and food is my #1 game which makes training a lot easier with me.
I currently live with children aged 8 and up and although I don’t live with any fursiblings, I would love to have one (or more) to show me the ways of the doggo world but would also be quite happy being the spoiled only furchild of the family.
Obi overview:
•With feet as big as mine are already, I will grow up to be a big boy – around 30-40kg.
•Ongoing commitment to training, puppy school recommended
•Backyard with plenty of space to play and run with 1.8m high secure fencing.
•Must be taken to East Maitland Vets for his 2nd vaccination and desexing in November (already scheduled)
Obi’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Obi is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He’ll need to be returned to East Maitland Vets for desexing in November.
