Pumpkin

Hi! My name is Pumpkin, and I’m so excited to meet you! Halloween may be over for the year, but I’m a pumpkin you’ll want to have around all year long. Maybe we could even have some spooky movie marathons together? My favorites are Frankenweenie, Hocus Pocus, and Casper—what are yours?

I’d describe myself as calm, gentle, and exceptionally cute! It might take me a little time to warm up to new people, but once I do, I’ll be as cozy as a pumpkin spice latte, always ready for all the pets and snuggles. I’m currently in foster care, and I’m loving the pet life—naps, toys, treats… what’s not to love?

I also think I’m a pretty great friend! I’ve been helping other hounds feel comfortable, especially my friend Potato. I love being around other hounds and am really good at showing them how to be more confident. I’d love to be your friend too—after all, you can never have too many friends, and I’m on the lookout for a new bestie (or besties)!
I’m still working on my confidence with other kinds of dogs, but I’m sure you can help me build it. I know that with you by my side, I’ll grow stronger and braver once you bring me home to your patch. (See what I did there? I’m a pumpkin, after all! Hehe.)

Together, life could be as sweet as pumpkin pie!

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
