About Ricky
Please meet Ricky, a charming short-haired miniature Dachshund with a super shiny reverse dapple coat. He was born on 27 April 2024.
With a vivacious personality and a love for life, Ricky is sure to bring joy to any home lucky enough to have him.
This little dog has a knack for creating deep bonds. He's already won the heart of his foster mum and dad and in his new home will devote himself wholeheartedly to his family.
At night, his favoured spot is right beside you, making bedtime a shared experience of warmth and companionship. (Please don't apply for Ricky if co-sleeping is not your preference.)
Ricky's ideal home will have a canine playmate to share his endless enthusiasm for games and adventures. He enjoys the company of other dogs and even gets along well with foster cats, making him a surprisingly adaptable and sociable little dog.
With basic obedience training under his belt, Ricky's a smart cookie who can understand commands, though he sometimes needs a gentle reminder to comply. Dachshunds were bred to be independent hunters so in Ricky expect a bold and brave dog with a vigilant and lively demeanor - plus a dollop of stubborness.
Ricky's fondness for life includes a love for food, which certainly makes him easy to please and train. Because Ricky is happiest surrounded by people and other canines, being left alone is not something he enjoys, so having a devoted family willing to share their day and night with him is essential.
Overall, Ricky is a happy, adorable little dog who’s ready to find a family to cherish. If you’re seeking a canine companion who's bursting with life and love, Ricky might just be your perfect match.
