About Mr G
Introducing Mr G!
Mr G is a domestic short hair, born approx 24th July 2021.
Mr G was brought in to us through rangers & unfortunately no one came looking for him. Mr G was incredibly fearful when he came in to us and he was often found hiding in his litter tray. The longer he was with us, the more we noticed he was starting to drool. Upon investigation, we found his mouth, gums & teeth to be in horrendous condition. He was treated for numerous infections and had to have most of his teeth removed. Once his mouth had healed, his confidence began to grow.
While Mr G was quite timid when he came in to us, he's always been very food motivated & he loves all types of wet cat treats (which is great considering he's got barely any teeth). He is still shy when meeting new people, however it doesn't take long for him to settle. We do feel he would be best suited to a home with either no young children, or a home with children who are teenagers as young children tend to frighten him to the point where he won't come out of hiding while he can hear them.
We've recently moved Mr G from a smaller enclosure into a larger play pen. Since being in the pen his playful side has started to emerge. So far his favourite toy is a ball tower, which he plays with every day.
Mr G has come a long way since being with us and we've found that he has a love for cheek scratches. He will shove his face into your hand to the point where you may get a hand cramp with all the scratches! He's also quite partial to a gentle bum scratch.
Mr G appears to be quite comfortable with other cats and was completely unfazed when another cat tried to attack him through their enclosure.
Mr G is desperately looking forward to finding his forever home, life in a cage just doesn't suit him at all.
Mr G will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an indoor cat only.
Mr G's adoption fee is $200.00 and includes his desexing and lifetime registration.
Mr G is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
