About Knife Fight
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Meet our handsome boy, Knife Fight (or Knifey, as we like to call him)! Don’t let his tough name fool you - though he may have been named for his intense play style with his littermates, Knifey is actually super gentle at heart :)
He absolutely LOVES human companionship and is always up for one-on-one playtime, especially if there’s a dangling string toy involved - he just can’t resist them! After he’s had his fun, Knifey enjoys recharging in a cosy cat bed and will happily re-emerge for more time with his favourite humans. This playful, affectionate fellow would truly make a wonderful addition to any home.
And if you're looking for a double or triple dose of feline fun? Knifey's brothers, Jandal and Clog, are also available for adoption and they'd be the perfect duo/trio for someone looking to welcome several amazing kitties into their life!
Like all Maggie's pets, Knife Fight is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will enjoy my boundless affection, and return it in spades! Any type of home, big or small, should suit me well - as long as I have heaps of fun toys to play with and a lap to snuggle on, I'll fit right in.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Off the charts during my morning and evening zoomies, but pretty chill for the rest of the day! I definitely know how to relax, and you’ll often find me curled up in a quiet spot, having a snooze or quietly watching the world go by.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'd be a great companion for a family with older children (ideally 6+) who understand how to respect my space. I adore playtime and am always keen to join in gentle activities!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Since I'm still young and playful, a slow introduction with another cat, big or small, who can match my energy would be ideal.
I haven't got any experience with dogs at this stage. While some cats adapt well to canine companions, it's best to meet them on neutral ground first. If you have a dog-friendly home, my foster parents would be happy to discuss a potential introduction!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
