About Jandal
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Jandal is a tiny ginger tornado on the hunt for his forever home!
This bouncy ball of fluff brims with personality. Equal parts curiosity and adventure, he's the most confident cat of his litter - initiating most games and expeditions around his foster home :)
Once he's worn himself out playing, Jandal loves finding unconventional ways onto your lap, demanding attention with his adorable meows. A gentle head scratch is all it takes to unleash his inner purr machine!
Looking for a double or triple dose of feline fun? Jandal's brothers, Clog and Knife Fight, are also available for adoption and they'd make a great duo/trio for someone looking to welcome several amazing kitties into their life!
Like all Maggie's pets, Jandal is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Whether it's a cosy apartment or a sprawling house, I'm ready to turn my new place into my personal playground! Being so confident and spirited, I'll thrive in an environment that offers plenty of climbing apparatus such as cat trees and shelves, and fun toys to keep my sharp mind active. And of course, no playtime is complete without a loving human or two to throw a ball, dangle something interesting or shower me with cuddles and head scratches (my favourite!).
MY ENERGY LEVEL: ... is best described as 'zoomy'! I'm a typical growing kitten so I enjoy enthusiastic play sessions in the morning and evening - but don't worry, I'm not all go, no whoa. For the rest of the day, you'll find me curled up in a sunbeam or perched on a windowsill, calmly observing the world outside.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Fantastic! I don't mind being picked up for cuddles (as long as they're gentle, of course!), making me a great companion for any cat-loving kids.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Since I'm still young and playful, a slow introduction with another cat, big or small, who can match my energy would be ideal.
I haven't got any experience with dogs at this stage. While some cats adapt well to canine companions, it's best to meet them on neutral ground first. If you have a dog-friendly home, my foster parents would be happy to discuss a potential introduction!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
