About Scruffy-Anne
Meet Scruffy Anne, a loveable charismatic female cattle dog x pup with a heart of gold, a smile that will break hearts and who is busting to show you how much love she can give.
Scruffy Anne is such a gorgeous character, she's managed to befriend both her foster siblings plus the resident sheep (who thinks he is a dog but that's a whole other story). She loves nothing more than to spend time with you, but also is happy to go off exploring on her own. She's proven to be the best crate sleeping pup that her foster carer has ever seen - she will happily go to bed at 7.30pm and sleeps ALL night long with a happy wag of her little stumpy tail when you greet her in the morning. She's a fast learner and very smart, learning to sit and wait while in care. She just wants to make you happy.
Scruffy Anne would make a perfect companion to someone with or without a resident dog, but really does love having a play with another dog. She's great with kids too, anyone that is capable of giving and receiving cuddles is perfect for her. She bonds easily to all ages of humans, is gentle and responds really well to commands and tone of voice. She's a great listener. Her recall is fantastic, probably because she is always busting for a smooch and a pat. She's a true fun-loving gem.
Scruffy Anne travels really well in the car, curling up for a nice sleep. She did show a little interest to the resident cat, more just to play. She's showed no interest in any of the resident chooks or ducks. She plays a great game of tug-o-war but prefers more the company of a human to love. And we all know how much heelers love to love! She's got all the good bits of a heeler with some scruffiness thrown in!
