About Polar Bear
Meet Polar Bear, a stunning female white cat with a unique and captivating appearance. Her striking heterochromia, one blue eye and one green eye, adds to her charm and makes her truly a rarity. Polar Bear or Polly for short, is not just a pretty face, she has a gentle and affectionate personality that will warm your heart.
Polar Bear is known for her sweet and calm demeanor. She enjoys lounging in sunny spots and watching the world go by. This lovely older lady is looking for a home with just human companions, she prefers to be the only pet in the household. Polar Bear does not get along well with other cats and would thrive in a home without children or older children that understand she needs her space sometimes too. She loves to be petted and will happily curl up next to you for some quality cuddle time.
Polar Bear would do best in a loving quiet home with access to an outdoor enclosure. A quiet environment with a focus on her needs would be ideal for her to feel secure and happy.
To book a meet and greet with Polar Bear please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
